Canada Open Tournament
Date
Senseis Suzi and Nick attended the Canada Open Karate Tournament in Richmond this weekend. As well as officiating, both competed and brought home medals.
Sensei Nick attends international training event
Date
This past weekend, Sensei Nick went to an international training event - a BASKA Gashuku lead by Sensei Chris Ensil (7th) dan and additionally trained with Shihan Chris Thompson.
No class October 6th & 10th
Date
Due to sickness in the house and then Thanksgiving. Class is canceled for Thursday October 6th and Monday October 10th.
Upcoming fall tournaments

Outside may be getting cooler, but the tatami is heating up. South western BC has at least 3 tournaments happening in the next 3 months!

Our new fall schedule is up! Monday & Thursday evenings and continuing advanced classes on Saturdays.
Medals from Victoria Open Tournament
Date
Last Sunday, June 26th, was the Victoria Open Karate Tournament. Senseis Suzi and Nick both participated as officials and competed. They brought home 3 silver and 1 gold medal.
Victoria Open Karate Championships Coming up
Date
The Victoria Open Karate Championships are coming up. They will be held at the Central Middle School (1280 Fort St) in Victoria on June 26th.
Sensei Nick Brings Home 2 Bronze Medals
Date
After a full day officiating at the 2020 BC Karate Provincial Championships in Richmond, Sensei Nick competed and brought home a Bronze medal in both Kata and Kumite.
BC Provincials 2022
Date
After two years without in person provincial tournaments, public health rules are okay with a tournament. Sensei Nick is attending and officiating.
