Registration is open for the 6th annual Vancouver Island Karate Championships! Sunday, March 9th in Nanaimo (Dover Bay Secondary School). This year there will also be a visiting Japanese team entering providing some great international exposure!
The address is 6135 McGirr Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9V 1M1. Opening ceremony is 9:30am - 9am is recommended to get there to participate in that. Exact schedule will depend on number of athletes in each category. Draw sheets and expected times per division will be published a day or two in advance.
This is a "development" tournament and is a great low stakes tournament for everyone to experience - or to practice for bigger tournaments in the future.
